Even if we had some sickness flowing through the house.
We have a rough track record with holidays, but it’ll turn. Oh yes. It will turn.
And even if we couldn’t feast, I still want you to know that I’m thankful for you. I’m thankful for the kids. I’m thankful for our home and our bathrooms that need fixing and our garage that needs cleaning and our backyard that needs fixing.
I’m thankful that we struggle with not eating junk sometimes. I’m thankful that our kids are sometimes inconsolable.
I’m thankful for all of it. The rough stuff is really not that rough. It’s life and I love doing life with you.
Today, we got to see the cuteness that is represented by our sweet pilgrim boys.
You made cute, good kids. They have their moments (since they are kids), but they are awesome.
Given that we’re in the season of thanks, I’m thankful for you and for them and that you’ve made my life sweet.
We all have times when we feel overwhelmed but can’t explain exactly why.
Various stressors converge all at once. Our mind wanders into catastrophe-mode where it should or not. We end up wanting to just cry.
Sometimes I feel that way. Sometimes you feel that way.
Last night, you felt that way. But you let me hold you and just be there with you. I don’t mean to make your stress moment about me, but it meant a lot to be able to just lie there with you and be your husband.
I hate it when you feel sad or stressed or overwhelmed, but that’s what I’m there for and I pray you always let me be the person you need me to be in those moments.
We took our annual trip out for the cousin’s birthday . The day trip to Augusta!
Our kids love it. And our kids are way cute. It’s true. Check these dudes out.
And check out the feather in my hair. Again… it’s all about your enjoyment and smiles. Next year… you get a feather.
Congratulations! You get this guy.
I wish I could kiss you via selfie all the time! 🙂
Our boy Sam and his kindergarten writing.
Nothing else needs to be said.
I like giraffes, too, Sam. I like them, too.
