Last night while we were trying to fall asleep and jabbering on about random things, you inadvertently gave me quite a few big ‘Thank Yous’.
You said, “I really have it good. You come home. You cook. I can leave you with the kids by yourself and you don’t freak out. You don’t believe how many husbands can’t handle being by themselves with their infants or toddlers for anything more than a few minutes….”
I felt like a king! I know I have my things, but it meant a lot that you appreciate these little things. I don’t do them because I know I get tick marks and checks and bozo buttons and cookies and stars, but I guess it’s just being a husband and a dad and a part of a family.
There you have it… thanks for the little shout out. I love you. 🙂
